Tips for a successful sparkler sendoff!

1. Make sure your venue allows a sparkler sendoff. Ask for a good location.
2. Use extra long sparklers designated for send offs (not the 4th of July kind). You want the long sparklers so no one gets their hands burned and so that they last long enough to capture the photos! You want the sparklers 20-36” long.
3. Have at least 1 long butane lighter for every 10 guests. That way when guests are directed to light up the sparklers it will be done quickly and most people’s sparklers will last the same length of time. Use sparklers to light sparklers.
4. Line up guests in two rows. Keep guests at a safe distance so they don’t burn each other. When everything is set, have one designated person to instruct everyone to light their sparklers together (by butane lighters and already lit sparklers). The designated person should have already prepped the bride and groom before to be ready!
5. Have the designated person ask the guests to do a 10 second countdown. When the guests hit 1 to place their sparklers in the air as the bride and groom walk, dance, twirl down! Don't forget to steak in a smooch half way!

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful fall day for Staci and Jimmy's wedding at The Blue Teal. Staci is so so sweet, and Jimmy is like the fun uncle that everyone should have! Their love is equal parts tenderness and silliness. I can't imagine that they will spend many days without laughter.

It was hard to chose favorites from Lauren and Kenny's romantic November wedding! Lauren has an infectious smile and such a fun personality! I can guarantee these two are going to live a life full of love, laughter, and lots of special memories!
